I love the retro vibes of this fur + flare look!
Every time I wear these flare jeans from A Gold E my mom tells me they remind her of her bell bottoms from the 70s. I actually love these flare jeans. They have a slight stretch to them, giving a perfect fit through the hips and legs and then they flawlessly flare just below the knee all the way to the bottom. They are long enough to wear with tall heels or wedges. The dark wash also has a slight distressing at the knee and hemline, giving them that worn in look.
My favorite fashion combo is pairing modern street styles with feminine pieces such as these distressed flare jeans with this floral lace top from Free People. I’m obsessed with this lace top! It fits like a bodysuit (without actually being one) and the lace print is so lovely and feminine. The street style thumbholes balance out the femininity of the lace. You can layer this top with so many things … I’ve been loving it with both leather and fur lately!
I finished off the outfit with a gorgeous vintage fox fur jacket from Adrienne Landau. Again, mixing a retro glam, feminine piece with the edgy distressed jeans balances out the entire look. Vintage items such as a fur or leather jacket or a handbag are great investments to mix into your modern wardrobe. The fringe saddlebag purse is actually modern but looks somewhat vintage 🙂
